Les Miles needs no introduction to college football fans. He’s the Hat: The grass-chewing, national championship-winning coach who has endeared himself to fans across the country. Fans come naturally when you’ve had success everywhere you’ve been. After stabilizing the Oklahoma State program—setting the stage for Mike Gundy—Miles took over for Nick Saban at LSU and was an instant hit. His first three LSU squads all won at least 11 games, with the 2007 season culminating in that national title win. After his time at LSU came to an end, Miles took a few seasons off from coaching to recharge his batteries. Then, in November 2018, Miles was introduced as the newest member of the Kansas football family. For Miles, family has always come first. And it was his father who instilled that mindset in him, motivating him from an early age to achieve his dreams.
